I wanted to take a moment to let you know how wonderful your staff are at your Halifax location.
My best friend Michele, and I, on a whim, decided to fly to Canada, we had plane tickets and a rented car, but no hotel reserved (FYI, Customs doesn't like that too much....lol). After arriving in Halifax around 10ish in the morning of Jan. 5th, we were driving up and down your quiant town trying to figure out where to stay. I was co-pilot so I was on look-out, we rounded the corner and my angels told me we should pulll into your parking lot. From the moment I stepped in to your lobby, I just knew we were going to love it there!
Your staff that morning welcomed us so warmly, it was like we were family. We booked our stay, literally dumped our luggage in the room so as to not waste a moment of your town. Your staff again came through with recommendations and places of interest. We instantly fell in love with Maxwell's Plum Pub, ended up eating dinner that evening at the Five Fisherman's Restaurant.
Your housekeeping staff need to be commended for their hard work and dedication to your establishment. We tried our best to keep things neat and tidy because we have families and know what it's like to have to pick-up after people...lol.
I do believe what really touched my heart was, after our day at Peggy's Cove on the 7th, we entered our room around 3 pm and discovered Guest Correspondence and two beautiful hard back covered books on Halifax. I was so stunned, I could only stare at what was left for us. Jessica, Marie, and Derick put a personal note in our books and signed them. I was brought to tears, because by then, I had fallen completely in love with Halifax, the people, and your wonderful staff and hotel.
I know this has been a long email and I apologize for that, but I just can't express my gratitude to your staff enough on how much they made our trip so much of a pleasure.
I pray God blesses me again to visit your lovely town and establishment.

I was very impressed with your excellent service and also the little extras such as your complimentary snack basket in the rooms and the manager's reception Wednesday evening. I think you are already way above many other hotels and you do it at a much better price. I do not see how you could improve any more.
Steve Miles went out of his way for me in obtaining some things that I was having a hard time finding on my own. I was very impressed. Since I stayed for a week, Cambridge Suites started to feel like a second home to me because all the staff was SO friendly and accommodating.

Our experience with your staff overall was excellent. I worked for 10 years in a management position at a hotel and we tend to be the worst critics. Having said that I have to say your front desk staff was very efficient and friendly, the gentleman that brought our wine was exceptional, in fact, I remember him from our last stay. We were even greeted by your housekeeping staff in the morning. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Halifax!

Dear Mr. Duggan:
On Wednesday, October 6, 2004 I, as always, had the pleasure of staying at the Cambridge Suites Halifax. Upon arrival at the hotel, I realized I had forgotten my garment bag at home which contained a suit and some neck ties.
I decided to phone the front desk to ask whether any extra ties may be available (i.e lost and found) to which Mr. Graham Perrier replied that he would try to assist with my dilemma. Shortly after, Mr. Perrier phone me and stated that he would send Mr. Ian Richardson (concierge) to my room with a tie.
Upon arrival of Mr. Richardson, I noticed that the tie did not match my dress shirt. Without hesitation, Mr. Richardson advised me that the tie he was wearing would be a perfect match with my shirt and he immediately removed it from his attire and handed it to me, stating that it had just been dry cleaned.
I was very much impressed at his selfless gesture and extremely appreciative. I have said this to you before, but it is worthy of repeating - you have the best staff in the city! In fact, through all of my travels across the world, I have never been greeted by such wonderful hotel employees.
Please convey my sincerest appreciation to Mr. Perrier and Mr. Richardson.

I'm writing to day to say thank you for taking such good care of my crew while they were staying with you recently. The crew of [our] documentary... stayed at your hotel... and were extremely happy with the service that they received. The staff at the hotel couldn't do enough to help them, including finding locations for them to film their interviews. It's always a challenge filming in a distant location, but your staff made it so easy. Also the accommodations were wonderful. This is the second time that I have had television crew stay at your hotel, and each time the accommodation and service were superb.
